How We Refurbish It

The EZ we sell here is re-worked and repaired as necessary to operate properly.

1. All winches are replaced with Non-Stop 2-Speed Heavy-Duty winches. They require about half the effort to crank as an EZ winch, which means you can now crank the scaffold fully loaded with materials without snapping off gear teeth. They come with a new pulley, a galvanized aircraft cable, and a lifetime guarantee.

First, we remove the old EZ winch and install an adapter to receive our winch. Next, we install our winch/cable/pulley assembly.


2. All cross-brace locks are repaired. We weld on missing drop locks, or replace missing wing nuts, depending on the original design.

3. Some replacement parts may be Non-Stop parts, which will be Non-Stop green.

4. Towers are checked to be within 1/2" of dead straight.

5. Missing pull-outs (plank supports) are replaced.

6. We have in stock replacement cross-braces ($18), electro-galvanized leveling jacks ($28), wall tie-in brackets ($45), stringer braces ($16), and other accessories like parts baskets and swivel forklift bars.
